Halal - A Worldwide Challenge
In our ever progressive world, it has become increasingly challenging for Muslims to determine whether the food or drinks they consume are religiously acceptable or halal. This halal and non-halal problem is not only limited to food and beverage but also to other products and services to guarantee the consumers' tranquility of mind at the global level especially in Islamic Countries.
Iran’s Halal certification is recognized worldwide among Muslim and Non-Muslim countries. It is of ISO compliant standard-Standard for the Production, Handling and Storage of Halal food. This standard complies with international standards such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practice (GHP).
In 2011, Ham Food Industries was awarded International Halal Certification from Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center (ICRIC) Affiliated to Organization of Islamic Conference.
